FindFace Multi by NtechLab: How 1.4 Thousand AI Cameras Found 120 Children in Novosibirsk Oblast

Facial recognition accuracy exceeds 99%

The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov highlighted the real scale of artificial intelligence implementation in Russian cities. The key asset of the state corporation, NtechLab, has already deployed FindFace Multi video analytics in 77 regions, and in Novosibirsk Oblast, the technology has been operating as part of the "Safe City" integrated security system since 2023.

Chemezov provided the President with specific figures: in 2025, AI helped locate over 120 missing children and nearly 3,000 criminals in the region.

The system is based on a neural network that processes video streams from 1,400 urban cameras installed on transport infrastructure, streets, squares, and in government institutions. The algorithm creates a vector model of a face, allowing identification of a person even if part of their face is hidden by a mask or headwear. Recognition accuracy exceeds 99%.
