From January to March, the "Silovye Mashiny" plant increased turbine production by 41% compared to the first quarter of last year. This was announced by the head of the company, Alexey Podkolzin.
According to him, new gas turbines have already been delivered to the sites of Artemovskaya TPP-2 and Kashirskaya GRES, and are currently being installed. Also, in June, a power unit will be sent to Khabarovskaya TPP.
In the first quarter, commercial output exceeded the result of the first quarter of 2025 by 41%. Nevertheless, the backlogs have not yet been fully closed.
In March, Podkolzin stated that "Silovye Mashiny" plans to produce 7 gas and 14 steam turbines in 2026. For comparison, in 2025, the company built 7 steam turbines, 5 gas turbines, and 9 hydraulic turbines.
At the same time, the service capabilities for already produced turbines are also growing. The joint venture "STGT" - "Inter RAO – Mashinostroenie" has increased the fleet of serviced high-power gas turbines in Russia and Belarus to 34 units. In 2021, the company serviced 31 turbines.
