Moscow Exchange expands crypto lineup: Solana, Ripple, Tron, and Binance Coin indices to be introduced

Calculation is based on data from major crypto exchanges

Starting May 13, 2026, the Moscow Exchange will begin calculating and publishing indices for four digital currencies: Solana (MOEXSOL), Ripple (MOEXXRP), Tron (MOEXTRX), and Binance Coin (MOEXBNB).

With the launch of these new instruments, the total number of crypto indices on the platform will increase to six – the exchange previously started calculating indices for Bitcoin (MOEXBTC) and Ethereum (MOEXETH). Further expansion of the lineup to ten indicators is planned.

The calculation will be based on data from major crypto exchanges with specified weights: Binance – 50%, Bybit – 20%, OKX – 15%, and Bitget – 15%.

The indices can be used as underlying assets for creating financial instruments, including derivative products.

Simultaneously, the exchange is changing the data update frequency: from May 13, all crypto indices will be recalculated every 15 seconds during the trading day and during additional weekend sessions. Currently, updates occur once a day with publication no later than 6:00 PM.

Bitcoin and Ethereum indices were launched earlier – in June and October 2025, respectively.
