Businesses to be shown future fines: Chestny Znak launches warning system

The new mechanism will allow identifying errors in accounting and sales without financial losses

Car fines have not yet been applied – but businesses will already be able to see what they will be fined for. The Chestny Znak system is launching a preliminary notification mechanism: companies will be shown all violations in advance and even calculate possible amounts. This was announced by Mikhail Dubin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center for Research in Perspective Technologies (CRPT), at the "Innoprom. Central Asia" exhibition.

According to him, the system is already starting to record deviations and display them in companies' personal accounts – even before the law on automatic fines comes into force.

The interface will show what violations have been recorded, how many there are, and how much they could cost businesses in the future. This will allow assessing risks in advance, finding errors in accounting and sales, and correcting them without financial losses.

Earlier, the bill on automatic fines was adopted by the Federation Council. It introduces a simplified procedure for bringing to administrative responsibility based on data from the labeling system.

The initiative was supported by the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova. According to her, this approach enhances digital control over product quality and safety, while minimally interfering with business operations.

It is assumed that violations will be recorded automatically – by analogy with road cameras. This refers, for example, to the sale of expired products, tobacco and nicotine-containing products with price range violations or without registration in the Chestny Znak system.
