Russia has achieved enormous results in the development of unmanned aerial vehicles. This opinion was expressed by Malaysian journalist Jonathan Edward on the sidelines of the Defence Services Asia (DSA) International Defence Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur.
Russia's exhibition at the show does not disappoint. What is especially interesting compared with previous years is the tremendous progress in the field of unmanned systems.
In his opinion, Russian developers have created a wide range of advanced unmanned systems thanks to their testing in real combat operations, including in the Middle East. Video footage from conflict zones confirms this, Edward emphasized.
Russia "is at the forefront" in terms of the development of UAVs for various purposes. Many countries are waiting for its drones to appear on the global arms market, the journalist concluded.
In 2026, Rosoboroneksport showcased at DSA a line of drones, including the Orlan-10, Supercam S350, SKAT 350M and Lancet-E. The stand also featured the Antisvid-2 optical-electronic device, the Neptune-1 body armor, and small arms from the Kalashnikov concern.
