Russia has dropped to 82nd place in the global internet speed ranking according to Speedtest. The average speed is about 91 Mbps.
For comparison, back in 2019, the country was in 46th place — the positions have significantly deteriorated over the years.
Now Russia is behind a number of countries, including Honduras, where speed indicators turned out to be higher.
The leaders remain Singapore, the UAE and Hong Kong — the internet speed there exceeds 300–400 Mbps.
The gap between countries with the fastest internet and Russia's current positions continues to widen.
