Foreigners will now be able to come to Russia under a simplified procedure — a special digital service has been launched in the country for those who want to live and work in our country. Highly qualified specialists can submit documents online, according to the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI).
The operator of the program is the ANO "Agency for Attracting Foreign Talents to Russia." The system works as a single window: it accepts applications, verifies compliance with the requirements, and supports the person at all stages of the relocation.
The following can obtain impatriate status:
- scientists and researchers;
- entrepreneurs;
- investors;
- athletes;
- representatives of creative professions;
- talented students and graduates;
- holders of state and departmental awards;
- specialists with experience of five years or more in priority industries.
The main condition is the availability of in-demand competencies and respect for traditional Russian values. The review of an application for the status of "a foreigner of interest to the Russian Federation" takes from 95 to 125 days.
