KrasAvia Received Eighth Mi-8 Helicopter

The new aircraft will transport people and cargo to remote villages in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

A new Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter has arrived in the village of Tura, the main base of KrasAvia airline. This is the eighth aircraft out of ten that the company is receiving as part of the regional air fleet renewal program, which has been in effect since 2021. The helicopter is already ready for flights and will soon begin operating regular flights throughout the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The aircraft will deliver passengers, mail, medicines, and food to small villages that are difficult to reach by other means of transport. The MTV-1 modification is specially adapted for the harsh conditions of the North — the aircraft operates confidently on unpaved surfaces, in low temperatures, and in high altitudes. Updated navigation equipment helps crews safely approach unprepared landing spots.
