Russia has approved a list of medical applications that will continue to work even with mobile internet restrictions. It includes health monitoring services, including popular sugar and blood pressure monitoring systems.
Among them are applications for working with glucometers and sensors, such as FreeStyle Libre, Medtrum, as well as a number of other solutions for continuous monitoring of the body's condition. All these services use computing power and process data exclusively within the country.
Separately, domestic developments were also included in the "whitelist": applications for remote monitoring of diabetes, blood pressure and other vital signs. They allow users to monitor their health in real time and transmit data to doctors.
The Ministry of Digital Development explained that the list was formed jointly with the Ministry of Health and relevant departments. The main goal is to ensure the stable operation of critical medical services even in the event of possible communication restrictions.
