The morning of March 30 began with problems for users of the Russian messenger MAX — the service started malfunctioning shortly after 9:00 a.m. Moscow time. According to monitoring platforms, the number of complaints surged sharply: the app does not open, messages are not sent, and notifications have simply stopped arriving.
The largest number of complaints is traditionally recorded in Moscow — up to one third of all reports. Khabarovsk Krai, St. Petersburg, and the Novosibirsk and Nizhny Novgorod regions were also among the leaders. Overall, the outage affected dozens of regions — from Kaliningrad to Primorye.
According to the statistics, the main blow fell on the notification system — more than half of users are complaining specifically about this. Widespread problems with the mobile app and the overall stability of the service are also being recorded.
Over the past hour, MAX has received hundreds of reports — users from the Samara Region, Krasnodar Krai, and the Moscow suburbs confirm that the messenger either does not load at all or works intermittently.
It appears that the outage is large-scale — the service is "storming" across the entire country.
