The company "Gonets" has officially become the operator of the new satellite communication system "Express-RV". It will not only accompany the project, but actually assemble it turnkey: from frequencies to equipment and services.
The operator's tasks include ensuring radio frequencies, developing and promoting subscriber devices, as well as participating in satellite testing and creating ground infrastructure. Moreover, we are talking not only about the Russian market - the system is immediately being prepared with an eye to international use.
The choice of "Gonets" is simple: the company already has experience working with the satellite systems "Gonets" and "Luch", as well as the necessary frequency permits - a key resource in such projects.
The "Express-RV" system itself will consist of four satellites in a highly elliptical orbit. This scheme will ensure stable communication throughout Russia, including the most remote regions.
A separate emphasis is placed on the Arctic: the new system should provide Internet and communication for ships along the Northern Sea Route, where traditional infrastructure is practically absent.
