The team at the special engineering plant "Iskadaz" (part of the "Kompenz" concern) has completed the development and shipped a specialized cultivator for subsurface fertilizer application to the customer. This is a high-precision product adapted for operation as part of hose systems, the company said.
The main feature of the new model is the hydraulic lifting of the wings, which makes transportation and turns in the field as convenient as possible. The cultivator is designed for applying liquid organic fertilizers directly into the soil to a depth of up to 50 cm.
Such developments open up new opportunities for precision agriculture. Applying fertilizers directly to the root zone at a given depth minimizes nutrient loss, reduces evaporation, and eliminates surface runoff. This not only increases the efficiency of fertilizer use, but also reduces the burden on the environment. In the face of growing demands on the productivity of the agro-industrial complex and the need to maintain soil fertility, such technological solutions are becoming an important tool for farmers.
