Rostov Agricultural Machinery Plant (RZM) has introduced a new mounted cultivator called AMBER, belonging to the Cover series. The unit is designed to perform a wide range of tasks, including soil loosening without layer turning, moisture retention, mechanical weed control, hilling, as well as incorporation of crop residues and fertilizers.
The new model has a working width of 2.75 meters and is aggregated with tractors with a capacity of 75 horsepower or more. The design includes 11 working elements arranged in two rows and is equipped with a flat-toothed roller. The processing depth is adjustable in the range from 2 to 15 cm using taureps, the weight of the unit is 500 kilograms.
The cultivator demonstrates a productivity of 3.5-5 hectares per hour at a working speed of 12 to 16 km/h. Among its functional capabilities are the formation of precise furrows for sowing, the destruction of soil crust to improve the development of the root system of plants, as well as leveling the field relief for optimal distribution of moisture and fertilizers.
