The new factory armor of the "Tor-M1" anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) has proven its reliability in combat. The manufacturer makes timely adjustments, said SAM squad commander Oleg Naumov.
According to him, the engineers are in direct contact with the squads. Naumov thanked the specialists for the good standard protection of the "Tor".
There are comrades who, of course, tested the armor, and not quite well. But they say that it holds up well. The crew is safe, the armor was replaced, and they continued to perform combat work.
As a reminder, the "Tor-M1" is produced at the Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant "Kupol". It is here that the final assembly of combat vehicles and the integration of all systems take place.
Earlier it became known that the "Tor-M2" sped up deployment to positions to 3 minutes. The complex operates autonomously in combat formations and fires on the move.
