The company "Khiagda" (an enterprise of the Mining Division of the Rosatom State Corporation) has started building infrastructure at the Namara uranium deposit in Buryatia. This was reported by the corporation's press service.
Key facilities are being erected at the industrial site. Workers will lay main pipelines from the main building of the enterprise to the deposit itself. Special solutions for borehole underground leaching of minerals will be supplied through these communications.
In addition, builders are laying a network of technological roads and a power transmission line (PTL). A cell tower and infrastructure to provide internet are being installed at the site.
Anatoly Mikhailov, General Director of Khiagda, stated that the development of the Namara deposit is an important stage in the company's development. Thanks to this project, it is possible to increase uranium production, ensuring uninterrupted supply of raw materials for the domestic nuclear industry, he concluded.
