AvtoVAZ spoke about the production of gearboxes and transfer cases for Lada vehicles. The workshops use modern automatic assembly lines, test benches, machining centers for housing parts, and metalworking machines.
The output of gearboxes of all types (for front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive vehicles, as well as transfer cases) exceeds 270 thousand units per year.
The main feature of gearbox production is the closed cycle. All technological processes take place here: from mechanical processing of parts to assembly of finished units.
Earlier, www1.ru reported on the forecasts of a former AvtoVAZ engineer: according to him, for the success of the Lada Azimut, the plant will need 40 thousand sales per year, but it plans to produce twice as many. The price of the new model, the insider believes, will start from 2.2 million rubles.
