«Pobeda» Airlines has changed its transportation rules and now offers adjacent seats free of charge for children aged 12 to 18 and their accompanying adults. This was reported by the carrier's press service on March 5.

Previously, the Shcherbinsky District Court of Moscow recognized as illegal «Pobeda's» requirement for paid seat selection for passengers with children of the specified age. The court decision was made following a lawsuit by the Prosecutor General's Office. The airline complied with the order, including the changes in the transportation rules.

«Pobeda» is part of the «Aeroflot» Group and operates Boeing aircraft. The new practice applies to all flights of the carrier and is aimed at respecting the rights of passengers with children.

«Pobeda» is a Russian low-cost airline focused on inexpensive domestic flights. The main fleet consists of Boeing 737 aircraft, serving domestic and a limited number of international routes.
