Moscow Shipyard is a modern enterprise for the production and maintenance of electric vessels. High-tech equipment is used here. This was announced by the head of the Moscow Department of Transport, Maxim Liksutov.
A laser machine with numerical control is used for cutting metal. It cuts aluminum, stainless and structural steel.
What other equipment is used at the Moscow shipyard:
- hydraulic press for forming sheet metal, which is used for the outer skin of ships
- rolling machine bends pipes, angles and channels in one pass
- turning processing center performs processing of shafts, pipes and other rotating parts
- four-roll bending hydraulic machine helps to create asymmetric metal shapes for three-dimensional products
Moscow Shipyard was opened in November 2025. The design capacity of the shipbuilding enterprise is up to 40 electric vessels per year.
Up to 100 ships will also be repaired here annually. In the future, the shipyard plans to assemble hybrid cruise ships for travel along the "Moscow Golden Ring" water route.
