The Minsk Tractor Works supplied about 2 thousand units of machinery to the African market, which is 62% more than in 2024. This was stated by Aleksandr Aksyonchik, Head of the Department for Promotion and Sales of Products to Non-CIS Countries at OAO "MTZ".
According to him, the main importers of Belarusian tractors were Zimbabwe, Nigeria, and Egypt.
In each of these areas, last year, compared with 2024, a growth rate of from 116 to more than 190% was achieved.
The most in-demand models were the BELARUS 820, 92S, as well as 1025.2 and 1221T.2 tractors. Special-purpose machinery is supplied in a tropical configuration with a unified cab and a canopy frame.
