A rare offer has appeared on the secondary market in the Moscow region - a GAZ-46 (MAV) floating vehicle from 1955. The car has been completely restored and is in running condition, according to the advertisement.
Under the hood, instead of the original engine, a Nissan diesel engine is installed. The original engine and axles are included with the car. The mileage of the restored SUV is 25 thousand kilometers.
GAZ-46 was produced by the Gorky Automobile Plant from 1953 and had the army designation "MAV" - small floating vehicle. It was intended for reconnaissance units and engineering work on the water. The car was created on the components and assemblies of the serial GAZ-69, but received a waterproof metal body and a propeller for movement afloat.
The car is registered in Moscow, has an original vehicle title and two owners in its history. The price is 5.5 million rubles.
