"Volga KGB" with a Toyota engine: a restomod based on a 1969 GAZ-24 is up for sale in Moscow

The price of the unique Volga is 9 million rubles

A unique "Volga KGB" sedan, created on the basis of the classic 1969 GAZ-24 model, has been put up for sale in Moscow. This heavily modernized restomod was developed jointly by the DSC OFF and GoshaTurboTech teams.

The body of the "Volga" underwent a complete redesign. A powerful Toyota 2JZ-GTE engine is installed under the hood. A Garrett turbocharger allows the car to deliver six power modes — from 450 to 700 hp — which can be selected via a control module. The car's claimed top speed exceeds 250 km/h.

The chassis was adapted using Toyota Mark II components with adjustable suspension. The braking system developed by HP-Brakes includes a separate circuit for the hydraulic handbrake.

Inside, the car features sport bucket seats, a homologated roll cage, a fire suppression system, and carbon inserts, emphasizing the sporting character of the "Volga KGB." The price of the restomod is 9 million rubles.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that a 1988 GAZ-24 "Volga" was put up for sale in Moscow.
