Sberbank has filed an application with the arbitration court to have the Magnitogorsk company Vostoktyazhmash declared bankrupt. The amount of claims exceeds 51 million rubles, and the first court hearing will take place in April.
The dispute between the parties has been ongoing since the spring of 2025. At that time, the bank secured the recovery of more than 53 million rubles in debt under loan agreements, including interest and overdue payments.
The company tried to challenge the decision, citing partial payment; however, the appellate court left the verdict unchanged. As part of the proceedings, the court had previously imposed interim measures — the enterprise's property was placed under arrest, with the exception of cash funds.
According to open data, Vostoktyazhmash operates as the official representative of the Tonar plant and supplies Chinese trailer and mining equipment made by SANY.
