The gear of the Russian Armed Forces servicemen has become diverse, and it is constantly being modernized to perform special combat tasks. This was stated by an officer of the material support company of the Southern Group of Forces.
The newest «Novator» uniform sets are entering the troops. According to him, the equipment is distinguished by high wear resistance and the ability to adapt to various combat scenarios. Servicemen highly appreciate the development of «Triada-TKO» (part of the «Kalashnikov» concern).
The officer noted that the soldiers of the Southern Group of Forces are also engaged in sewing special ponchos that hide them from enemy drones.
With the help of a poncho, soldiers cannot be detected by enemy drones equipped with a thermal imager.
The newest «Novator» gear set is produced by the «Kalashnikov» concern. It includes, among other things, an all-weather field uniform kit (VKPO 3.2), the «Novator-BSH» helmet, the «Novator-BZH» body armor, and the «Novator-TS» backpack. In 2026, servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces will massively test the gear set in real combat conditions.
