The Simbirsk Design Bureau "Piranha" has announced significant progress in the development and production of unmanned systems. Since the beginning of 2022, more than 35,000 devices of this line have been manufactured in Russia.
Representatives of the bureau noted that the organization focuses on launching the serial production of innovative unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and related communication systems. In addition, the complete replacement of imported components and software with domestic analogues developed by their own forces is a priority.
The bureau also emphasized ambitious plans for expansion: a strategic task is to enter international markets with competitive solutions in the field of unmanned technologies. Such steps could strengthen Russia's position in the global drone industry, where the emphasis is on innovation and import substitution.
