General Electric and Siemens gas turbine repair mastered at Rosatom

Employees of the service center "RIR Energo" (part of the "Rosatom Infrastructure Solutions" division) have 100% replaced the maintenance of General Electric (USA) and Siemens (Germany) gas turbines. This was reported by the Rosatom press service.

Specialists have mastered the full cycle of repair of foreign gas turbine units (GTU). In 2025, they carried out almost 100 works of various levels of complexity. This includes boroscopic examination (visual inspection using a boroscope), elimination of unscheduled defects (critical malfunction or failure), and major equipment repairs.

Director of "RIR Energo" Alexander Ikonnikov stated that the course towards full localization of gas turbine maintenance has justified itself.

Now the maintenance of the installations is carried out in normal mode, there is no dependence on external factors, he summarized.
