As part of a large-scale production modernization, JSC «TMH-ElectroTech» has started organizing a reference assembly line for traction collector motors. The new section is equipped with advanced equipment, including six tilters and six crane systems, purchased during the implementation of two major projects for the creation and development of domestic production of electrical machines for railway rolling stock with the support of the Industrial Development Fund.
The first to be assembled on the updated line were NB-514E traction motors, designed for mainline electric locomotives of the «Ermak» series 2(3,4)ES5K. In the near future, it is planned to launch the production of the DTK-417K engine, which will be used on both mainline and shunting diesel locomotives.
According to the company, the introduction of a single, standardized technological process, brought to the smallest detail, will ensure consistently high quality of each manufactured product. The commissioning of an additional assembly line will not only increase production capacity, but also strengthen the company's contribution to ensuring Russia's technological sovereignty in the field of railway engineering.
