The air carrier "Ural Airlines" was fined 42 thousand rubles for prolonged flight delays. This was reported by the Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office on its Telegram channel.
The supervisory authority checked compliance with consumer protection legislation. During the inspection, it was found that from August to October 2025 the company unjustifiably delayed departures by more than four hours on routes from Yekaterinburg to St. Petersburg and Khabarovsk, from Tashkent to Yekaterinburg, as well as from Sochi to Chelyabinsk. As a result, at the initiative of the transport prosecutor, "Ural Airlines" was brought to administrative liability.
"Ural Airlines" reduced passenger traffic by 7% in the first six months of 2025 due to difficulties maintaining Airbus A320neo aircraft. The company's reporting states that this led to a decline in operating indicators.
