Prosecutor's Office Punishes Ural Airlines for Flight Delays

Carrier Fined for Departure Issues in 2025

The airline "Ural Airlines" has been fined 42 thousand rubles for lengthy flight delays. This is reported by the Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office in its Telegram channel.

The supervisory authority checked compliance with legislation on the protection of consumer rights. During the inspection, it was found that from August to October 2025, the company unjustifiably delayed departures by more than four hours on routes from Yekaterinburg to St. Petersburg and Khabarovsk, from Tashkent to Yekaterinburg, and from Sochi to Chelyabinsk. As a result, at the initiative of the transport prosecutor, Ural Airlines was brought to administrative responsibility.

Ural Airlines reduced passenger traffic by 7% in the first six months of 2025 due to difficulties in maintaining Airbus A320neo aircraft. The company's reporting indicates that this led to a decrease in operating performance.
