Yandex Rovers Have Completed 850,000 Deliveries in Russia

The rover fleet is planned to be increased to 5,000 in 2026, and to 20,000 in 2027

Yandex rovers have already made 850,000 deliveries throughout Russia, according to the exhibition of unmanned vehicles for civilian purposes at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the development of autonomous transport.

Today, there are about 500 delivery robots operating in the country, 215 of which are in Moscow. In 2026, Yandex plans to increase the fleet to 5,000 units throughout Russia, in 2027 to 20,000, and in 2028 to 30,000. In the capital, 3,000 rovers will operate in 2026, and by 2027 their number will increase to 7,000.

Rovers already started operating in Kazan and St. Petersburg at the end of 2025. The first robotic delivery vehicles appeared in Moscow in 2019. In the past year alone, they completed more than 250,000 deliveries for Yandex and its partners.
