In September 2026, Russia plans to adopt a new package of measures to combat cyber fraud. This was announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
He noted that effectively combating cyber and telephone fraud is a common task for the state and business. Reducing the opportunities for criminals to deceive citizens is possible only through joint efforts.
According to Mikhail Mishustin, a bill to prevent cybercrimes was submitted to the State Duma at the end of 2025.
It included about 20 initiatives. In addition to them, we will consider a number of changes to the legal framework.
The proposed measures will expand the mechanisms for responding to suspicious calls and improve the verification procedure on the "Gosuslugi" portal.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that fraudsters came up with a multi-level scheme to deceive Russians for access to "Gosuslugi".
