The traffic police remind that in Russia the extension of the validity periods of driver's licenses that expired in 2022 has been canceled. Drivers must now replace such documents.

Drivers whose licenses expired in 2022 are required to replace them immediately.
Drivers whose driver's licenses expire in 2023 should pay attention to the dates. If the document expired in July 2023, then the driver's license must be replaced in July 2026.
Those who have a license valid until 2026 also need replacement without delay.
What is needed for replacement
In order to replace a driver's license, you will need: a personal application, a passport or another identity document, the old driver's license, and a recent medical certificate.
Additionally, it is necessary to pay a state fee in the amount of 4,000 rubles.
