The railway system of the Krasnodar Territory has been fully restored and is ready for normal train traffic after the abnormal snowfall that hit the region before the New Year. This was reported by the Committee of the North Caucasus Railway (SKZD).

In the region with the introduced state of emergency, power supply to the contact network and the automated train control system were successfully restored. More than a thousand railway workers worked in the Kuban to eliminate the consequences of bad weather.
At the end of December 2025, Kuban and Adygea faced a powerful cyclone that left many households without light and heat before the New Year. Residents had to sleep in outerwear, and there was a shortage of gasoline and clean water in stores. 100 emergency and repair crews were involved in the restoration of infrastructure.
