Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ) plans to bring updated versions of three key models to the Russian market by September 30, 2026 — the "Patriot" SUV, the pickup truck based on it, and the "Profi" commercial van. The new models will receive diesel engines as well as six-speed manual transmissions.
According to the company's press service, the lineup will also include a version with a ZMZ Pro gasoline engine adapted for the new transmission. This decision is aimed at expanding consumer choice and increasing the vehicles' competitiveness amid tightening requirements for environmental performance and efficiency.
In addition, UAZ emphasized that the production of limited series based on the updated models is not planned for now — the relevant decisions may be made no earlier than the end of 2026.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that UAZ revised its price lists upward — the minimum increase amounted to 23.4 thousand rubles.
