A Russian military transport aircraft Il-76TD arrived in Iran with an unknown cargo on board. The vessel belongs to the Belarusian airline "Rubistar".
The Telegram channel "Русское оружие", referring to the flight monitoring service, reported that this is the fifth flight in the last 48 hours.
As a reminder, the Il-76 is a Russian heavy ramp air freighter, created as a military transport aircraft. In civil commercial aviation, the aircraft is mainly used for the transportation of industrial equipment, dangerous goods and self-propelled vehicles.
The vessel is equipped with two onboard cranes, two winches and a rear ramp with a lifting capacity of up to 30 tons. Maximum payload is 46 tons, flight range with a payload of 40 tons is 3,900 km, flight crew is 5 people.
