Small companies developing drones for various purposes have been given the opportunity to participate in the implementation of the state defense order. This was stated by Andrey Bezrukov, Chairman of the Board of ANO "Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies" (CBST).
Several dozen of our companies this year have large and stable contracts with the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
Many developers, unlike the classic state defense order, work according to a simplified scheme. The volume of contracts of companies that receive support from ANO "CBST" exceeds 35 billion rubles, Bezrukov added.
According to him, the development of drones for the Russian Navy is a separate issue, since these are more technological products than drones for the Ground Forces and Aerospace Forces. We are talking about surface drones and underwater robotics.
More than 30 of our companies are working with the Russian fleet in one way or another, 16 of them already have firm contracts.
Bezrukov said that Russian developers are striving to increase the level of import substitution of the component base in drones for various purposes. In many products, key parts of Russian production are used, including engines, batteries, and flight controllers. The issue of localization will be resolved in the medium term, the head of ANO "CBST" summarized.
