Apparently, the development is focused on the destruction of small and medium-sized drones, including reconnaissance and strike drones.

The "Katran" targeting system combines several means of detecting and tracking aerial targets at once. It includes a radar station, a laser designator, as well as an optoelectronic system with automatic search and tracking of objects in the air.

This set allows you to detect drones at different distances and in difficult jamming conditions.

The exact technical and fire characteristics of the new combat module are not yet known. Apparently, the turret is designed for installation on pickups.
