The State Armament Program for 2027–2036 in Russia provides for the modernization of the nuclear triad and the formation of a universal air defense (AD) system. This is stated in the materials on the website of the President of Russia.
The reference indicates that special attention is also paid to increasing the capabilities of the ground forces and increasing the export potential of Russian weapons and equipment.
Recall that the state armament program is a long-term planning document that provides for the development, production and maintenance of weapons, military and special equipment in a state of combat readiness.
The program is valid for 10 years, and every five years it is approved by the President of Russia. The parameters of the SAP for 2027–2036 have been calculated and are ready for approval as of December 2025.
