The small missile ship "Stavropol" (project 21631 "Buyan-M") conducted firing exercises in the Baltic Sea. This was reported by the press service of the Baltic Fleet.
The sailors used standard ship artillery weapons in the fight against unmanned surface vessels (USVs) of a mock enemy. Mock-ups of guided and towed boats were used as targets.
In addition, the MRK crew practiced actions to set up electronic countermeasures and visual camouflage.

The multipurpose MRK belongs to 3rd rank ships of small displacement in the near sea zone. 12 ships have been built according to project 21631 "Buyan-M". "Stavropol" is armed with a universal artillery mount A-190 "Universal", anti-aircraft AK-630M-2 "Duet", missiles "Caliber-NK" and "Onyx".
