Traveled 14,000 Nautical Miles: Corvette "Gremyashchiy" Returns to Vladivostok After Long Voyage

The crew of the Project 20385 vessel made calls at the ports of Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Brunei

The multipurpose corvette "Gremyashchiy" (Project 20385) has returned to the main base of the Pacific Fleet in Vladivostok after a long voyage. The crew of the warship also participated in international exercises.

Chief of Staff of the Pacific Fleet, Sergei Rekish, stated that the sailors had completed their assigned tasks. During the voyage, the crew of the "Gremyashchiy" demonstrated high naval training, and mastery of maneuvers and exercises.

The corvette "Gremyashchiy" participated in the "Marumex-2025" naval exercises with ships of the Myanmar Navy, and also made calls at Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Brunei.

The ship belongs to the Kamchatka Flotilla of Mixed Forces of the Pacific Fleet. Homeport — Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The corvette is armed with AK-630M artillery guns, Igla and Verba MANPADS, and the Paket-NK anti-submarine complex. A Ka-27PL helicopter is stationed on board.
