Yandex has introduced an updated version of its proprietary browser with enhanced artificial intelligence. Now, the Alice AI assistant can analyze the content of videos and documents, answering users' questions directly during viewing or reading.
The neural network processes data from the open page and generates concise, structured answers in the form of theses or a summary. For example, you can find out the ingredients of a dish from a video recipe or the main financial indicators from a PDF document. To use the function, simply click the "Ask Alice AI" button on the page.
The updated assistant works with videos on Rutube, VK Video, YouTube, and Zen, as well as with materials from Yandex Search, PDF files, and Google documents. The new feature is gradually becoming available to all users in Russia.
In essence, Alice AI turns the browser into a universal tool for finding and analyzing information. The user no longer needs to rewind videos or scroll through lengthy reports — artificial intelligence highlights the necessary data itself.
