Russia plans to begin developing heavy-class unmanned transport systems with a carrying capacity of over 100 kg. The platforms will be used by the military. This was reported by the development company "Dronax".
We see that the tasks solved by such devices are constantly evolving and scaling. We recognize the growing relevance and strategic importance of creating platforms with even greater carrying capacity - over 100 kg.
According to Dronax experts, the use of such platforms will significantly expand the capabilities of the Russian Armed Forces. This will open up the possibility of mastering more complex scenarios for the use of heavy drones where the transportation of bulky or multiple cargo in one flight is required.
Earlier, Dronaxdeveloped the Black Kite-15 (ChK-15SVO) multirotor cargo drone.
The drone is already undergoing testing.
- Heavy cargo drone "MiS-150" will be sent to the series
- Flying trucks to replace helicopters?: WingedBull XS and WingedBull XL unmanned trucks will be tested in 2026
- Can carry up to a ton of cargo - the new Russian drone "Partizan" has been tested
