The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation reported that more than ten domestic industrial companies specializing in the production of heavy multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have demonstrated the high efficiency of their equipment.
According to the results of the demonstrations, in which about 400 Russian companies participated, more than 10 industrial enterprises specializing in the manufacture of heavy multi-rotor UAVs have already confirmed their effectiveness.
It is noted that the ministry is actively involved in organizing specialized technical councils, where promising developments by civilian engineers and small technology companies are considered jointly with the Ministry of Defense and representatives of public organizations. According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, such events are becoming a starting point for integrating innovative solutions into industrial production and military applications.
In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, together with the Ministry of Defense, coordinates efforts to combine the resources of large enterprises, startups, private inventors and research institutes for the accelerated development of domestic unmanned and robotic systems.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking on the direct line, noted the shortage of unmanned drones with heavy lifting capacity.
