Promtech, a company from Nizhny Novgorod, has announced the release of a new passenger minibus — Kapitan-ENA L2H2, designed for 8 passengers and a driver. The new product is developed on the Maxus V70 platform, known in the European market as IVECO Fidato, and is positioned as a modern solution for commercial and municipal transportation.
Under the hood is a 2.0-liter diesel engine that meets the Euro-6 environmental standard, with an output of 150 hp. Buyers will be offered a choice of two transmissions: a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic. An 80-liter fuel tank is provided to increase the range.
Safety and comfort have become key focuses in the equipment of Kapitan-ENA. The minibus is equipped with a comprehensive ESP dynamic stabilization system, supplemented by emergency braking (EBA) and hill start assist (HHC) functions. The base also includes ABS, brake force distribution (EBD), electronic parking brake (EPB) and a driver's airbag.
Among the amenities are keyless entry and engine start, an anti-theft system, a multifunctional steering wheel with cruise control, a 4.2-inch digital instrument panel, and a 10.25-inch multimedia display with navigation support and smartphone integration.
The new Kapitan-ENA L2H2 is aimed at a wide range of applications: from corporate transportation and taxis to municipal routes and low-traffic intercity lines.
The manufacturer declares a modern interior and exterior design, as well as the possibility of installing an extended package of optional safety systems. Currently, Kapitan-ENA L2H2 is undergoing state certification, so prices for the model have not yet been disclosed.
In the future, Promtech plans to launch mass production of the minibus in Nizhny Novgorod as part of a special investment contract (SPIC).
