Power systems of Buryatia, Tatarstan, Transbaikalia and Khabarovsk Territory updated electricity consumption records

The increase in network load is associated with an increase in industrial consumption

The power systems of Buryatia, Transbaikalia, Tatarstan and the Khabarovsk Territory have updated historical records of electricity consumption, according to the "System Operator".

In the Khabarovsk Territory, a new maximum was recorded on December 12 - 1,811 MW, which is 10 MW higher than the previous record. In Transbaikalia, the record of February 18, 2024 was exceeded by 65 MW, reaching 1,538 MW.

The Republics of Tatarstan and Buryatia updated their figures on December 11: in Tatarstan, consumption reached 5,241 MW (+89 MW), in Buryatia - 1,204 MW (+3 MW).

The "System Operator" noted that the increase in load is mainly due to an increase in industrial electricity consumption. The increase in records reflects the active development of regional industry and the growing need for energy resources.
