Specialists of the company "Bermos" have developed an autonomous relay complex "Kust-2", which supports the DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) digital communication standard. With its help, Russian Armed Forces servicemen have deployed a closed radio network with a length of 700 km in the border area of the Russian Federation.
The purpose of the complex is to create a seamless radio network over a large area without the use of IP infrastructure.
A representative of the developer added that "Kust-2" is used by fighters of intelligence units, drone operators and artillerymen. Thanks to the complex, servicemen can quickly exchange information and make decisions.
Features of the relay complex "Kust-2":
- moisture-proof shockproof housing
- autonomous power supply (high-capacity LiFePO4 battery)
- operation up to 2 days
- weight — 29 kg
- communication standard — DMR Tier II
- transmission power — up to 50 W
- frequency range — UHF 400-470 MHz, VHF 136-174 MHz
