AGR Company, which owns the former GM plant in Shushary, is going to restart the idle production. This is evidenced by the fact that the company is recruiting technical specialists and office workers.
A total of 43 vacancies are available. The plant is looking for technicians and mechanics, assembly line operators, workers for the body and welding shops, as well as quality control specialists and software engineers. There are also vacancies for a Chinese translator and a procurement specialist. Salaries range from 95 to 170 thousand rubles, depending on the position.
AGR plans to invest more than 37 billion rubles in the modernization of the enterprise, and the plant will begin to operate in the first months of 2026.
