The company "Ortech" has presented the "OSOT" interceptor drone, capable of reaching speeds of up to 350 km/h and destroying aerial targets using onboard artificial intelligence. The device is focused on combating aircraft-type drones and can attack both from the ground and in flight.
The key advantage of "OSOT" is its autonomy. All data processing and decision-making occur directly on board thanks to the built-in neural network trained to recognize targets. The operator only needs to confirm the target selection — the drone performs all further actions independently.
Despite its compact dimensions (weighing only 1 kg), the interceptor is equipped with four piercing and cutting elements and is made of impact-resistant carbon-filled plastic, which ensures effective damage to the target upon collision. The flight time is up to 10 minutes.
The developers note that "OSOT" can be easily integrated into existing perimeter security systems of industrial facilities, airfields, and critical infrastructure, enhancing their protection against intruder drones.
