The head of state noted that Indian military specialists cooperate with Russian ones and see, «in what conditions the weapons work effectively». Putin, in a conversation with India Today, recalled a number of important joint projects, including the development of BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles.
In addition, Kalashnikov assault rifles are produced in India under Russian license. Small arms are in service with Indian law enforcement agencies. We are talking about АК-203 (version АК-200 for the 7.62×39 mm cartridge).
