Russian T-90M "Proryv" tanks surpass foreign vehicles, including the American Abrams, in terms of maintainability. This was stated by the head of the Rostec State Corporation, Sergey Chemezov.
According to him, domestic armored vehicles are generally less demanding and easier to maintain than Western ones.
There are cases when the T-90M repeatedly returned to service after serious hits, it was possible to return it to combat condition. From the point of view of maintainability, modern domestic tanks continue the traditions of the legendary T-34. This will not work with Abrams — factory specialists will be required.
Chemezov added that Russian tanks, unlike American ones, are also equipped with all-round protection against drones and anti-tank missiles.

Military analyst Boris Dzherelievsky stated that "Proryv" has already proven its superiority over Western Challenger, Abrams and Leopard vehicles.
The T-90M tank is the most adapted to operations in modern combat conditions vehicle in the T-90 family, including due to the presence of a modern all-weather fire control system, all-aspect protection and the implementation of measures to improve survivability.
