The alleged technical specifications of the export version of the latest Russian fifth-generation single-engine fighter Su-75 Checkmate have appeared online. The capabilities of the aircraft, which is called promising, are quite alarming.
For example, the parameters of the onboard radar (radar) indicate that the fighter will be able to detect targets with an effective scattering area (RCS) of 5 m² at a distance of only 160 km.
Analysts recalled that for the American F-14, which was adopted in 1972, this figure is 215 km.
For the Soviet radar "Zaslon", adopted in 1981, for targets with the same RCS, the indicator in different sources is called in the range of 160-180 km (with a detection probability of 0.5).
In addition, the maximum take-off weight is indicated as 26000 kg, and the working flight ceiling is up to 16500 m.
