ВТБ внедрил оплату по QR-коду во Вьетнаме

The service operates in more than three thousand retail outlets

VTB Bank has announced the possibility of paying for goods via QR code in Vietnam. Clients can use the "VTB Online" application for purchases in this country.

This service can be used in more than three thousand retail outlets throughout Vietnam. To make the payment available, you need to point the application's camera at the QR code on the receipt or at the terminal. Payments are processed in rubles, converting to Vietnamese dong. There is no commission. The limit for one transaction varies from 10 rubles to 350 thousand rubles.

Vietnam is confidently entering the top 10 popular destinations for Russians thanks to direct flights and a visa-free regime. The country has a QR code payment service called VietQR, which greatly simplifies payments. Now, VTB clients can also scan codes for instant payment of goods in rubles without commissions in "VTB Online".

Vietnam has become the fourth country where VTB clients can use the service. Similar opportunities were previously implemented for bank clients in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkey.
